In order to encourage junior Snooker RIBSA provide Under 16 players with free entry to all the Senior Ranking events.

A number of juniors did not show for the first senior event this season. RIBSA have now decided that any under 16 player who enters and fails to show will be liable for the full U-21 entry fee of €15.00.  This penalty must be paid before the player will be allowed to enter any other RIBSA tournament.
