SBI runs dedicated ranking events for U-14, U-16, U-18, and U-21 age groups throughout the season. Players earn ranking points towards National Championship qualification.
Development Days
Regular development days at SBI HQ where juniors receive coaching from PJ Nolan, practice drills, and competitive match-play experience in a structured environment.
International Pathway
Top junior players represent Ireland at EBSA European Championships (U-16, U-18, U-21) and Celtic Junior Challenge events. SBI holds international training camps to prepare teams.
Celtic Junior Challenge
Annual home and away matches between Republic of Ireland and Wales junior teams. A key stepping stone for young players gaining international experience.
Junior Shoot Out
Fast-paced single-frame format designed to develop match temperament and shot selection under time pressure. Held annually at SBI HQ.
Training Programme Booklets
All junior camp participants receive a training programme booklet with practice drills plus a sports psychology booklet to help develop their mental game.
