The RIBSA National Under-19 Snooker Championships 2013 will be played at the Ivy Rooms Snooker Club in Carlow this Saturday 20th April. Play commences at 10:30am for all the players. New Institute SC Nenagh Cue Zone
This week our National Coach PJ Nolan held a Snooker Coaching Zone in The New Institute Snooker Club in Nenagh County Tipperary. Among the players whom attended varied from former Irish Junior International Players to new up and coming Juniors to experienced club players who represented their club in Killarney this year.
Brendan O’Donoghue makes it two in a row
Brendan O’Donoghue from Nenagh won the 7th Ranking event of the season and his second in a row. Brendan beat Ryan Cronin 4-0 in the quarters and after a long fought battle with Rodney Goggins took the semi-final 4-3. John Sutton won his quarter final match against the 147 man, David Hogan 4-1 and David Morris 4-0 in the semi’s.

RIBSA Team for 2013 EBSA Poland
The Republic Of Ireland Billiards & Snooker Association confirmed today the Teams and Officials who will represent Ireland in the 2013 European Championships in Poland.
Draw for Senior Ranking No.7
The 7th RIBSA senior event of the season will take place in the Ivy Rooms Snooker Club in Carlow on the 13th and 14th of April.
Senior Billiards 150-up Championships 2013
The Senior Billiards 150-up Format National Championships was played at the Ivy Rooms yesterday 7th April. All matches were the best of 5. Aidan Murray made it to the final beating Brendan Devlin 3-0 and Joe Doheny. Due to the late hour the bottom half of the draw played to the semi-final, with Wayne Doyle and Rodney deciding to play their match at a date to be decided before the Nationals weekend. The final will be played on Saturday 25th May at the Ivy Rooms.
2013 U-16 National Championships
The RIBSA Under 16 National Snooker Championship was played in Douglas Snooker Club in Cork featuring 22 top young players from all around the country looking to lift the Irish title. The 2013 final on the 26th of May will be between Sean Burns from Cork and Shane Bates from Wexford after both players played some fantastic snooker on the day.

The RIBSA Under 14 National Snooker Championship began this morning in Douglas Snooker Club in Cork featuring all the top young players from all around the country.
2013 Intermediate Team Champions
The team from the Southeast Region of Daniel Dempsey (Newbridge), Benny O’Brien (Ivy Rooms), Paul Kelly (Newbridge), Adrian Morrissey (Wexford) & Colvin O’Brien (Ivy Rooms) won the 2013 RIBSA Intermediate Team Championship in the Ivy Rooms Snooker Club Today.

The 2013 Intermediate Team Championship takes place on Saturday 6th April in the Ivy Rooms Carlow. Play commences at 10:00 and teams must be registered by 09:45am. This event was won by the South East Team in 2012.
