The Republic of Ireland Billiards & Snooker Association have just announced the number one available player on the RIBSA Senior Rankings after the next Senior Ranking Tournament on Saturday the 24th of March will be awarded a free QSchool place.
World Snooker Limited have offered this place to RIBSA and our association would like to thank them for this offer.
World Snooker Chairman Barry Hearn said: “Sport is about opportunity for all, regardless of nationality or gender, which is why we introduced Q School in 2011, to give as many people as possible the chance to chase their dreams and become a professional snooker player.
Over the past six years it has proved the best and fairest way to allow players to qualify for the World Snooker Tour. If you have the ability and the belief, then your chances are good. The best will rise to the top.
