Conor Harkin comes of age
The 3rd of this seasons Intermediate Snooker Tournaments took place at the North West snooker club in Letterkenny last weekend. There was a small but talented group of players with included 3 formed Donegal champions, Anthony Bonnar, Phelim Mc Clafferty and Sean Mc Veigh. The tournament was run on a double elimination basis, which means that each player has a second chance if they get defeated up to the final.
Connors victorious in Donegal
The second Intermediate of the season took place at the CYMS Snooker club in Letterkenny last Sunday. There was a small but talented entry of 9 players from Sligo and Donegal.
McVeigh Wins Intermediate NW 1
North west Snooker Club in Letterkenny hosted the first Intermediate tournament of the season last weekend. This year the Snooker association of Ireland has decided to change the format for some of the tournaments, there will be four different formats, Seeded Groups, Open Draw, Double Elimination and Seeded draw. The new formats have created a lot of debate on the social media websites over the Summer break.
Dempsey Wins Intermediate SE 1
Daniel ” Steel ” Dempsey won the first Intermediate Snooker Ranking event of the RIBSA season in the South East region today in the Ivy Rooms Snooker Club in Carlow.

Yeates Wins National Intermediate Title
Andrew Yeates from the Royal Snooker Club in Navan was crowned 2012 Irish Intermediate Champion in the Northwest Snooker Club in Letterkenny over the weekend.

The 2012 Celtic Snooker Challenge will be held in Wales in the Terry Griffiths Matchroom in Lianelli on Saturday the 30th June.
Tierney and Yeates qualify for Intermediate Final
Andrew Yeates from the Royal Snooker Club in Navan and George Tierney from the Roadstone Club in Dublin have qualified to meet in the final of the Irish intermediate championship at the finals weekend in Letterkenny on the 26th and 27th May.
