Ivor Wins Challenge Event 2
The second National SBI Challenge Ranking Event of the season was held in the SBI Academy in Carlow on Saturday the 11th of November. Due to the large Entry, this event was stopped at the Quarter-finals stage and was played out to its conclusion on the 25th November in the SBI HQ in Carlow with play beginning at 2pm.
Doran Wins Challenge Event 1
Adrian Doran from Liam Mellows SC Wexford won the first National Challenge Ranking event of the season in the SBI Academy of Excellence in Carlow on Sunday 8th of October.
Delaney Wins National Challenge Championship
Darren Delaney won the 2023 National Challenge Championship in the New Institute Snooker Club in Nenagh on Tuesday the 16th of May. In the final Darren played Clubmate Dave Garrett in a great final.
SBI Challenge Tour National Championships
Snooker & Billiards Ireland (SBI) would like to announce the date and venue for the National Challenge Championships on the Saturday the weekend of 13th – 14th of May in Nenagh. This will be a two day event depending on entries.
Fitzpatrick Wins Challenge 4
On Saturday the 1st of April, Celbridge Snooker Club hosted the fourth event in the SBI Challenge Tour series. This was highly competitive event which saw Ivor Fitzpatrick and Pat Fitzgerald go head to head in the final on Thursday 6th April at 2:30pm due to the late finish off the semis.
Nolan wins SBI Challenge Event 3
On Sunday the 26th of February, CYMS Newbridge was the venue for the third event in the SBI Challenge Tour series. This was a change from the original scheduled location, which was not available due to on-going alterations work at the Crucible Club in Cork. Play started at 10am, with a total participation of 21 players.
