Flynn Wins Challenge Event 2
On Saturday and Sunday 12th / 13th October SBI Challenge Event 2 got underway with a total of 45 players in the SBI HQ in Carlow. There was strong competition with a lot of the matches going the distance and some really good snooker being played Philip Burke from kilrush in Clare had a wonderful 80 break and was unlucky not to make a century break.
Higgins Wins Challenge Tour Event 1
James Higgins from Galway won the first SBI Challenge tour event of the season. This event took place on Saturday 24th August in the SBI HQ in Carlow with the Semi Finals and Final being played on Sunday September 1st in the SBI HQ.
Ben Wins Challenge National Title
Snooker & Billiards Ireland (SBI) held the 2024 National Challenge Snooker Championships in the SBI HQ in Carlow on Saturday the 18th of May and it was Ben Doyle from Wexford who won the title in a dramatic black ball in the final frame to win against Aman Goel from Letterkenny 3-2.

Snooker & Billiards Ireland (SBI) would like to announce details of the SBI Challenge Tour National Championship. Players should be aware that all entries are now through the on line system and you have to enter before the closing date.
O’Reilly Wins Challenge Event 4
The conclusion of the SBI National Challenge Event No.4 was held in the SBI Academy in Co. Laois on Sunday 24th March.
Ken Wins Challenge Event 3
The first ever national ranking event to be held in St John’s Limerick got underway at 10am on Saturday the 3rd of February with the quarter finals onwards finished on the 25th of February.
