Martin Thorpe from Newbridge CYMS won the third RIBSA Intermediate Event in the Ivy Rooms Snooker Club in Carlow. In the final he beat Benny O’Brien from Kilkenny 3 frames to 2 in the final.

Richie Flynn from Waterford secured the high break prize with 72.
