Both RIBSA Men’s teams will play eachother in the 2016 European Men Team Championships Semi Finals tomorrow in Vilnius, Lithuania. All three Irish teams were seeded No.1, No.3 and No.4 in the knock out draw after giving master class performances in the groups.

In the Last 16 today
Men’s Team 1 of Robert Murphy & Michael Judge the Defending Champions beat Germany 2 4 frames to nil. Ireland 2 of Jason Devaney & Rodney Goggins beat Israel 2 4 frames to nil and the Number 1 seeds Brendan O Donoghue & Ryan Cronin beat Latvia 4 frames to 1.
In the Q-Finals today
Irish Men’s Team 1 of Robert Murphy & Michael Judge played Belgium but the defending Champions were beaten 4 frames to 3 in a thriller. The boys gave it 100% but were beaten on the day.
Ireland 2 of Jason Devaney & Rodney Goggins played Poland 2 and the Irish won a great match 4 frames to 1. Top seed Ireland 3 of Brendan O Donoghue & Ryan Cronin played Israel and this also went to a decider but Brendan O Donoghue beat Shachar Ruberg in a shootout to win 4 frames to 3.
Tomorrow will see both Irish team playing each other and it promises to be a classic at 8am Irish time.
