Myers Wins Intermediate Billiards

Lloyd Myers won the third RIBSA Intermediate ranking event of the season was played in the Ivy Rooms SC in Carlow on Sunday. In the final he beat James Bateman 400-316 in a great final In the semi finals James Bateman beat Brendan Devlin and Lloyd Myers beat Liam Byrne.

4 Nations Billiards International

This weekend the N.Ireland Billiards Association held the 4 Nations Billiards Tournament in Celbridge Snooker Club. The International committee extended a warm and sporting welcome to all players and officials to Celbridge Co. Kildare. The event was won overall by England who scored 58 points overall over the two days, followed by Northern Ireland 37, Republic of Ireland 35 and Austria 14.

Hughes wins 4th Billiards Event

The fourth tournament of the Scratch Billiards series was played at the Ivy Rooms Snooker Club in Carlow on Sunday, 11th of December 2011. Eugene Hughes, having bowed out at semi final stage in the previous two ranking events, both to last season’s No 1 ranked player Aidan Murray, more than made amends by taking the fourth tournament title of the season in a gripping final against Aidan.
