It is with great sadness to hear that a great friend, snooker man and genuinely lovely fella Pat O’Neill has passed away.
It is with great sadness to hear that a great friend, snooker man and genuinely lovely fella Pat O’Neill has passed away.
Pat was just 48 years of age and was suffering and battling illness for a few years now and was still the Treasurer of the Munster Snooker Council.
Anyone who ever spoke to Pat, met him at Munster Council meetings or in Killarney would say the same thing every time “What a lovely man”.
His honesty, integrity and decency is how I will remember Pat, he never had a bad word to say about anyone and was private and sincere in everything I ever saw him do.
There is no doubt but we have lost a great friend today and our sympathies go out to his family and close friends.
Pat you were a shining example to everyone, may you rest in peace my friend I will miss you dearly.
